Ditch the Dark Day
25th Oct 2014
We held a special cycle, scoot and walk to school day on Friday 24th October 2014.
The theme of the day was Be Bright, Be Seen. To raise awareness of safe travel to school as the days became darker, we encouraged the children to cycle, scoot or walk to school looking as bright and shiny as possible!
Everyone got very creative with their outfits and some even decorated their bikes and scooters to be super bright. We saw bright clothing, bike lights, glow sticks, bike lights, a helmet wrapped in aluminium foil, fluorescent orange socks, a pink tutu, a neon green wig – the school was glowing!
