We were delighted to welcome MLA Michelle McIlveen to Saint John's. She had selected our school as one she would like to visit on her tour of North Antrim schools, stopping also with Leaney PS and Sandelford Special School.
Michelle McIlveen was appointed Chairperson of Stormont's Education Committee in September 2014 and was herself a teacher of History and Politics.
We treated our visitor to a tour of the school, finishing with a special assembly in the hall where all children sang for Michelle.
She is welcome any time in Saint John's and Year 7 look forward to meeting MLA Michelle McIlveen when we make our annual visit to Stormont with our Killowen PS friends in Term 3.
